Brookfield Central and Brookfield East High School construction is now 50% through the project schedule!
High school students will return on September 1 to:
There will be open ceilings in corridors and some classrooms will not yet have floor tile. Construction will continue into the 2009-10 school year, with minimal noise disruption.
What's to come:

During the school year, six classrooms will be renovated at a time, with classes using alternate locations for about six weeks

Corridiors will be worked on during second shifts

Front entrances for the schools will be started in spring of 2010

Music areas, science classrooms, kitchens and media centers will be complete in summer 2010

Exteriors at Brookfield East will be finished
